User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI've lived within walking distance for over 13 yrs and may have been there four times. Very pricy.
Good if you want to try something different. I had the coconut chicken and pineapple salsa with grilled vegtables and cole saw,$14 I enjoyed every bite. They give good portions. The bread was fresh bur tuff to eat they should buy softer bread. We had water, their beverages are very over priced. For two meals and an order of fried mushrooms our tab was $40. A lot for two people at neighborhood tavern.
I've had the fresh chicken salad before that is excellent. If you like seafood you will find it here.
It was so hot in there I kept wishing they would crack a door open. It's not a very large building so heat builds up from the kitchen.
Very clean. We had the same waitress as mentioned above. I thought she was very helpful in making our minds about what to order. Very knowledgeable. Maybe not Ms. Personality of the year but how many of us are. Considering how busy she was I thought she spent a lot of time with each customer. Watching the tables and knowing when we needed bread or refills. She didn't bother us while we were eating to ask if we needed anything she just seemed to know.
I would go there at least once a month if it wasn't so pricy. Maybe they will catch on and lower them some.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe family decided to try something different, so I pulled this establishment out of my vault of "we should try that place sometime".
The place looked nice. A little dark inside, but it did add something to the character.. Looked at the menu and thought.. WOW. A tad bit pricey.. Received the food (quickly received, I may add) and realized that the prices are directly proportional to the amount of food received. EVERYONE had a doggie bag that night.
I would like to dispute a previous comment. I had the Fish and Chips.. I thought it was GREAT!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starswon`t go back: The heavy set lady with the dark rimmed glasses and brown hair obviously didn`t want too wait on us on our arrival at between 4:30-5pm on a friday night,. The service was very bad, and the fish wasn`t that great. I had heard really good things about the place. Maybe we needed reservations?

Place has changed owners.
I got news for Vern H........I have been working there for 15 years and they have DEFINATLY NOT SWITCHED OWNERS! Kathy and Lanny Fox still own it and probably will for years!
