Great Place: Unlike the previous review my 3 Martini's were very strong. I asked the bartender how many shots were in the drink and he said 3 to 4 per martini. For $7.50 a TRIPLE is a steal. The place was jammed by 10:00 pm which is usually the standard for Monroe. I didn't get a chance to sit at the deck because it was closed for the season. It appeared to be huge. The granite restrooms were awesome. They rank with the Vegas Casino's.

More of the same for Monroe: Very cool deck out back. Other than that..... My drinks (all 3) were watery. Absolutely no-one there at 9:00 on a Saturday. Requested no pickle with my dinner (absolutely hate 'em) seems they found the juciest one to put on my plate so that everything tasted like pickle yum! Oh and of course the stereotypical martini cool dude was there with his huge cigar (once a year smoker) skip this place.

Classic Martini with a Twist: The twist is that this isn't the greatest place, yet it's still great. I mean, the drinks are delicious . . . but they're expensive. The place is awesome to look at . . . but it's usually dead inside. There's a deck out front and out back . . . but they're usually empty. They have the internet juke box, so you can hear anything you want, but it's like $1 a song. If you like quiet bar atmospheres with pretty decor, and you've got the cash to spend, this is the place for you. If you want to get loud and rowdy and kick back some beers at $2 a piece, go elsewhere.
