Mexican Fiesta

ok...first of all for the peopole who are confused about the coleslaw, go to mexico pretty much every plate you get will have cabbage on it or in it! Also, the chips and salsa here are AMAZING the reason why they are charged for the second basket is because they are homemade every day! I know that they used to be free baaack in the day and if they were to continue that they would run out a lot faster and for the people walking in to get chips wouldnt have any so in my opinion its a good idea and if you cant afford them get cold chips there only 1 dollar.This restaurant is definetly worth going to... ENJOY

We gave been going here for years. It used to be the best. The last time we went, the food was bland. The lettuce tasted slick. The service has also gone downhill. Too many people for too few waitresses. However, a wait isn't bad if the food is good. Good the food is not...... anymore.

My husband and I were very dissapointed upon our visit last night. This restaurant used to be good but now it is terrible! We were thinking of going to Southgate to Mexican Gardens but decided to stay closer to home. Our waitress was very nice but visited our table only to bring the food and bill so we went without drinks. The tamales we ordered were so dry we couldn't eat them and the guacamole was nothing but smashed bland avacado (it was a large for almost six bucks but it was in a small plastic bowl that looked like it should be called a small). The chimichanga was loaded with lettuce to make it look bigger. We asked if we could have more chips to go with our guacamole and we were told that we would need to pay $2.00 for them! The prices were high for the crappy quality of the food we recieved. The restaurant itself looks like a rundown truck stop. The carpet and booths are dirty and the bathrooms were unusable. We should have went to Southgate to Mexican Gardens where you get delicious good quality food for the price that you pay, lots of guacamole for a fair price, awesome service and free refills on chips. Plus an ambiance that is clean and festive. I'm sure we will never go back to Mexican Fiesta. I would give it zero stars if Yahoo would let me.
