London Fog Chimney Sweeps

Just had our first chimney cleaning. Bought our home three years ago and had done a few fires in the fire place, thought that it would be wise to have it cleaned for the season.

Being new to this, we spent many months looking online for a a business who had great reviews. Brian from London Fog was extremely professional in his dealing with us over the phone. We had called during the busiest time in his season, yet he returned calls on his off time.

The job was done very well (not a speck of soot on my carpet) and he was very detailed about the job.

We look forward to setting up appointments with him in the future.

Brian has been to our home twice and has been courteous, thorough, honest and professional. There isn't a speck of dirt or ashes left and he is careful to cover around the fireplace while cleaning. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs chimney cleaning or service.

I called this company out to clean our chimney in September, due to the fact that I had a bird nest and dead birds. Brian came, cleaned the chimney, removed the dead birds and nest but never even offered to address the problem of keeping the birds from returning. In fact, he cleaned from inside, never went on the roof or inspected anything, and took no less than 3 phone calls while doing my job. I called back to get him out to repair the cap, having had to release live birds from my house twice, he kept saying he was on a job, very busy, and would call back. I have since called him 4 times. It is now November, he has NEVER called back, and today I called someone else to fix the problem and remove yet more dead birds.

Call London Fog only if you have a lot of time to be blown off. OH! And he charged me $89.00, only takes check or cash. I gave him $90.00 cash and he did not give me my $1.00. Ok, it's only a dollar, but the point is he never even offered or indicated that he didn't have change. He DID take several minutes encouraging me to write a review here. Well, here ya go.
