This is my favorite restaurant. The food is good, the service is great, the prices are reasonable and the owner has always been very nice to me.
When my relatives come from out of town (Las Vegas and Rhode Island), they insist on eating the smelt at Bobby's Kitchen. Vegas and Warwick have excellent restaurants, so for my relatives to rate Bobby's so high, that speaks volumes.
My grandmother, who will not eat at Bob Evans, Big Boy or any other chain, thinks that this restaurant is the only decent place in Monroe.
I am so sorry to hear that others have had poor experiences. Please call the owner and tell her as she believes in always making things right.

my husband and three very young kids went to eat on a sunday morning at bobby's, our waitress was perpetually talking about her boobs to the restaurant. not only was this bothersome to me, but the other customers who were in the resaurant were elderly and just out of church, the waitesses last name was clark, i cant remember her first name but the talk was disgusting.
our food was cold, our drinks were never refilled, we waited fifteen minutes for our bill, and the service was terrible.

i wouldnt refer this restaurant to anyone around.
they will NEVER recieve my service again.

high prices small portions.... woman owner not very friendly.. fish is terrible...
