Wonderful breakfast, but get there early. Place fills up fast. Great dinner value. Only complaint is Marilyn, the waitress - very snobbish. We won't have her wait on our table again. Much better service from the other waitresses.
It is smoke free and the food is fantastic. Staff is also very professional. Best kept secret in Trenton!
I had a terrible night in the hospital! And just recovering from a horrible gastrointestinal infection (from a trip to the Philippines), that morning, I was HUNGRY for breakfast like I never did. My plan was to go Panera's (it's along the way), but the place was crowded. I drove home thinking, "I don't really like to go to Denny's"! I drove further south past my place when I remembered, "Oh, that little place in the corner! That restaurant's parking lot is always full"! It was my first venture into that little place that I have always thought of as being "too plain and simple, and what could they possibly offer?" When I got in, a beautiful lady with an equally beautiful smile, said, "Good morning and welcome!" I was impressed! I looked at the menu and found it interesting, but plain. BUT I was hungry! I ordered a "Three-egg Greek Omelet" (with onions, feta cheese, and gyro meat) and hash browns. The size of the breakfast floored me! The omelet floored me! It was the greatest breakfast I have ever had! I savored the omelet and the hash browns, and not even the torrential rains that morning bothered me!
I should not judge a book by its cover, and truly, I misjudged that "little" restaurant in the corner! I promise to myself that it will be a weekly visit from now and on (only weekly, because I need to watch my diet). I want to try their "Biscuits and Gravy" (that morning, I did not see it on the menu, or it could be because I was hungry).
AND, the staff is wonderful. The young lady who brought my hot tea (who was there on her first day) had the smile of a beautiful princess. And the waitress was so polite and friendly and made me feel so at home. Feeling at home in a restaurant?! Well, with the food, the friendly staff, and the ambiance, IT WAS LIKE BEING AT HOME, INDEED, ON MY FIRST VISIT TO YOUR WONDERFUL RESTAURANT!
