User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBumpers has always been kind of a dive bar, but one that you could go to for a good time. Since the change of owners/mgmt, now you can expect to sit on chairs that either lean to one side or forward, hunt down your waitress to get a drink (or just go to the bar because your tired of waiting), use a restroom that smells like a outhouse on a warm day, or just spend the evening with the questionable clientele it draws. I'm no prude, but I'd rather spend my money somewhere where they appreciate their customers enough to spend a little time and money trying to keep it clean and hire a staff that wants to work for their money. Never going to step foot in the place again. Oh, and the food is not that good either.

Monday, June 8, 2009 1953 hours telephoned 734-459-7720, asscertained kitchen open on Tuesday till 2300 hours. Arrived Tuesday 2245 hours, 2250 hours after sitting five minutes not being approached by either of the two waitresses, I approached one at the bar, and informed her I wanted a menu. Shortly thereafter I was informed the kitchen had already closed, which was fifteen minutes prior to the advertised time. It is a clear and apparent fact that this business cannot be trusted to follow it's own rules and guidelines. I drove 13 miles one way to receive this type of dishonest treatment from bumpers, one good thing about me is that I only make a mistake one time, it won't happen again as I won't be returning to bumpers to be bummed out again. My rating for Bumpers is it's awful.

Was a decent dive bar until recently. I noticed that they have cut back on the amount of booze they pour in mixed drinks, and upped their prices. Now they're priced like a "nice" bar, but drinking rum & coke gets me wired instead of buzzed because it's all Coke.
Oh well, time to find another dive...
