We dropped off our dodge grand caravan on Friday morning for a repair of pasenger side autowindow and oil change. The work is done Friday afternoon. But the service person said they can not release the car until they get paid from 'Easy Care", a warranty service purchased when I bought the new car. When asked when can I have my car, they answered 'probably Monday'. I started arguing with them that I need the car to drive to work on Monday. The service person told me 'no manager' when I asked for speaking to manager, and told me that I am not listening, they will not release my car until they get paid, period... Later I was able to contact the service manager through operator. The service manager was reasonable and agree that I pick up the car on Saturday. I picked up the car on Saturday. On our way home we started to relealize the AC is not working and when arrived I can not open the pasenger side door from inside. I was stucked in a hot seat... What a service!
My husband and have purchased our last 4 vehicles from Dick Scott Dodge and would never buy a vehicle from another dealer! From beginning to end the service we received was excellent!
We were in the market for a new Dodge Grand Caravan and had a lease vehicle to turn in. The knowledgeable sales staff was able to help us close our lease and get us into our new Grand Caravan the same day! We also own a '05 Jeep wrangler, and since they conveniently service all makes and models we are able to have both vehicles serviced at the same dealership. I never mind taking our vehicles in for service; it is the easiest service department I have ever dealt with. I pull right into the service bay, drop off my vehicle and either get a shuttle to work, or wait comfortably in the customer lounge. My service advisor, Harley Wood, has been handling my vehicles for the last 7 years and I have come to rely on his professional courtesy and recommendations to keep my vehicles in top-running condition.
I highly recommend Dick Scott Dodge in Plymouth for all your vehicle needs, especially if you are looking for an easy way to buy or service your vehicles!
This dealership rates POOR on customer service. Just yesterday (Saturday) early afternoon, Tim and I, Lisa, went for a visit. Tim wants to lease or purchase a new Challenger R/T at the end of his current Mustang GT lease expiration. We pulled up at 2pm (they close at 3pm on Saturday's) in my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer - I am providing all the details of our trip so you can better understand the circumstances. In my opinion, I would think that an adult couple pulling up at a dealership in a competitor's car would draw interest as you would want to "sell" one of your cars to this couple and "switch" them from Chevy drivers to Dodge drivers, no? We walked around the lot looking only at the limited number of Challengers they had on the lot, one of which was sitting on their top entrance display right in front of their windowed sales office. Not ONE person came out to greet us, not ONE person even attempted to assist us. We were looking at the cars, walking around them, touching them, reviewing their window stickers and talking about the car to one another. After 15 minutes of doing this, we actually walked into the dealership and I will admit that every salesperson seemed busy working on another customer; however, we waited in the showroom for several minutes - enough time for me to locate a restroom and use it, without anyone even greeting us! Not even a simple "hello." While waiting for me, Tim went outside to have a cigarette and continued checking out the Challenger SRT on display on the platform. He states that two salespeople walked out at different times and walked right past him without a glance. He even looked at their faces to make eye contact and nobody returned the gesture, they simply ignored him. After I was done in the showroom, I joined him outside and we took one more walk to visit each Challenger in their lot before calling it quits. Nobody was even interested in seeing if we needed anything, even though it was very obvious that we were interested in the vehicle. I am in my mid-20s and he is in his early 30s. Although we can both relate to them being busy with other deals and transactions since we are both in sales/customer service ourselves, the number one rule is to "greet" customers. We left without even getting a simple hi. We will be shopping next weekend again... one thing is for sure, we will NOT be returning to Dick Scott, no matter what they may be able to offer us. The only thing we can conclude to after this poor experience is that they saw how "young" we were and just assumed that we were looking around for curiosity's sake and were never going to be able to afford getting into a Challenger. Little do they know that we both get into new cars almost every year and we can more than afford this vehicle into our budget. That's one more sales they lost and two more people they left with bad impressions about their dealership.
