    It has a history; but it is a dump; the owners are very mean to the clients who stay there on a living term.the elevator goes down every two weeks for 5 days; no compensation for the down elevators; hot water goes out every week,no concern for their faithful clients who pay rent on time, constently. these owners only think of themselves. it is good to visit for a night stay but to live; no no no no no, the City should shut them down for all the violations they have in the building.People smoke in elevator.

    Had a great stay, the hotel while attending the ball games during the day and some great music at the "Filmore." It was a short walk to Campus Martius and some great jazz.

    The staff was very helpful. I stayed in a signature suite and it was nice to have a frig for some extra brewskis after the game. Can't wait till Cleveland gets into Detroit.

    I cannot believe anyone would check in by choice,most folks are ordered to live there by the "Michigan Department of Corrections"...LOL
