| About: | Twingo's opened in 1995 as a small coffee house, with a ten item menu by Jeffrey Kalich, who wanted to reflect his travels to New York, London and Paris by offering unique menu items, all with the interest and atmosphere that you just couldn't find in Detroit. Menu entrees include chicken creations, crepes, and interesting pastas. The restaurant has consistently ranked among the city's best, getting awards for cuisine, service and atmosphere. With it's intimate setting, Twingo's is fine for a first date, dinner before or after the theatre, or even a great spot to chat over dessert and a glass of wine or specialty drink from the full bar. |

I like the new Twingo's. The food is great, especially the mussels. The atmosphere is also great. Welcome back.
A hidden gem. My friends and I had dinner one night and it was great. The food was hot, studio look was hot and parking was easy. The picture of the little girl in the restroom was cute. I will make sure I spread the word to all my friends. Keep up the good work.
Euro Café dé Splendid!: The food is TOP SHELF. The atmosphere is like an artist's studio and the servers are like your best friends. Unique products you can't eat or drink anywhere else. The breakfast burrito (o.k., a bit Mexican in a Euro café) is by far the BEST I've ever had. Juan Lopez has done an EXCELLENT JOB in re-opening this classis Detroit gathering place. Enjoy it. Park on Forest for free. By the way, Eclectic Sista, there are no curtains in this restaurant anymore, that was the previous life of Twingo's!
