User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsEverytime I enter this store, I get the feeling that they are eyeballing me like I was supper. I really hate stores where the salesmen work on commission. I also hate stores that allow their salespeople to wheel and deal. Just give me a fair price and be done with it.
I went there looking at 42" LCD HDTV's. Some of the prices looked better but they were older models (not something you want when it comes to technology). Even when the models were the same and prices were different, it was only within a couple of dollars of Best Buy and since Best Buy will match prices, it was irrelevant. Also, if you mention that you are there for a smaller item, good luck getting ANY help.
Best Buy won because they had employees that were there to provide customer service, regardless of whether or not they sold the TV. They also have better service plans.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have hated this location even before they built the new building. They literally attack you like fricking vultures when you walk through the door. When you tell them you are just looking they don't get a damn clue and leave you alone for a second. Some other slimey acting p.o.s. will be there in seconds to piss you off even more than the last one. I live in Trenton south of this store by probably 8 miles and my last three tv's came from the ABC out in southfield (10 mile and southfield)just because I get a slimey feeling when i walk in the door at the southgate location. Being helpfull is one thing ,but i get the feeling they even want all of the change out of my pockets before i leave the store. I have shopped at many electronic stores in the last fifty years and never hated a place so much. They really need to come in as customers themselves and see what the hell they are doing to piss off their customers. By the way i went to BESTBUY right after and bought a 42" plazma just to feel like i took a shower.

I just bought a HDTV their and the salesman gave us a REALLY good deal. He did not push anything on us and was very helpful and HONEST! Hubby and I WILL go back for more electronics and appliances soon!
