terrible service. Worst $80.00 ever spent. Steak were small and overcooked. Second time there bad each time. Never going again.
Absolutely 100% the worst dining experience ever. The waiter jumped us from the moment we sat down. I had to ask him to give us a few moments to get situated with our 1 year old so we could settle and think straight. Then when I ordered the "Outback Special" sirloin with shrimp and fully dressed potato, he put in the wrong one because he said there are two on the menu one with and one without. I had clearly pointed at the one on their special menu. I ordered it medium well and it came out undercooked. I wasn't going to say anything because I already had asked where my shrimp was, and he looks at my steak and says "oh thats undercooked i'll take it back" then 5 minutes later a girl comes to the table with my steak sets it in front of me and says, "cut it open while i'm here so i know its right" I had no idea who she was, but my steak was completely OVER cooked and tasted disgusting, it had so much pepper seasoning on it that it didn't taste like meat. I didn't say anything because at that point I was so upset and disappointed in the restaurant that I didn't want to be mean and cause a scene with my family there. I paid for a quality meal, and I didn't even get one, nor did I get an apology for anything that the cooks and server did wrong. Like...misordering my meal, and not knowing how to cook a steak. The portions were disgustingly small for the price, the service was horrid and the food tasted disgusting. I wouldn't tell anyone to come here, or any other Outback Steakhouse, especially if this is what their franchise is about.
Gross!
Love this restaurant, but they rarely have the soups available that you want and barely give you a portion when you do buy them. Also, the waitstaff doesn't really have an idea of what's available or going on with anything when you call for take-away. I still go there because I love the food and its close to home. Many other franchises are much better...just farther away!!
