User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Anchor bar is an old standby. The hamburgers are always cooked just right, on a stainless grill, not flame broiled. The beers are cheap, and they have a pretty good selection. This place is always packed before and after Detroit Red Wings games. Although you can usually find a seat in the back. They have a free shuttle as well, but it isn't far at all to walk to Joe Louis Arena. Typical old bar, great Detroit flare, awesome for Red Wings games. Good place to start a Red Wings bar hop.
