most unhelpful . a week after refinancing with towne in the middle of a conversation with a very stupid person on setting up an automatic payment program i was informed that my mortgage had been turned over to bank of america [ the worst of the worst ] it has two months of phone calls and wrong information and my problems are still not resolved . avoid dawn at all cost.

Towne Mortgage Company isn't very impressive from their website to their customer service. I've been with them since August 2008. I had to call once and the customer servere was Ok. The second time I called, the automated phone message just keeps playing over and over instead of transfering you so someone. So, I just choose an option that is closest what I want, I get another message saying that the voice mail box is full so I have to press zero to speak with someone that picks up the phone and hangs up immediatley. That pisses me off. I'm going to refi ASAP. Maybe I'll stop making payments and when they try to call me, I'll deactivate my VM and hang up on them as soon as they speak. Jerks!!

Dawn Johnson was helpful. She answered all my questions and found a better rate for me than the other places I checked. Dawn was friendly, and it was easy to work with her. When she was unavailable for a short vacation, she let me know in advance and arranged for a back-up person. My interactions with others in the office were also professional and good.
