User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best Japanese Steakhouse in Michigan. The Chefs are spot on. Great for big partys between 6-10. Plenty of food for the price and kicks the crap out of Bennihana. The below post of people being loud at a table, get a life dude....Its all about having a good time with good food not some snobby place that you rub one off to your BMW.

The reviews of the service are accurate...don't expect much. My server never checked on me, but she was around to flag down if needed, and she wasn't rude. I did not appreciate, however, the large group of employees gathered at a table, talking loudly in Japanese and laughing loudly.
The reviews of the place being "run down" were not accurate, it was clean and inviting. I could have done without the music, though...woman crooning and moaning in Japanese...sounded kind of like an alley cat in heat.
Maybe best for takeout if you are going to try and converse, or if you need a server a lot.-

Yeah the service is not that great. I do not mind waiting for the food, in fact on a date I like it, but they do need to get the drinks to you faster. We know now to order them before the one we are drinking is done... but we love the food and with a coupon you cannot beat the price! One of our favorite resturants!
