| About: | Club Sevin at 40 West Pike Street started off by going by the name Sin, which was requested to be changed to something a bit more 'community-friendly'. Everyone loves a controversy and Sevin soon hit it as a top nightlife spot, where the party and the fun begins. Playing the hottest mixes, the DJ's rip off some pretty good electronica, techno, trance and house to name a few. There are themed rooms as well, so choose your mix and get your groove on. |

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis place has a nice look to it. A bit dark though near the floor, even for a club. Not ventilated enough if it even is at all, which is crap for a spot that has smoking. I was on the guestlist but the girl couldn't find me on it so I had to pay $10 to get in, then $9 a pop for a drink... no crushed ice in the bar. None of the bathroom stalls have working locks. Really dead for a Saturay night. I went to see a friend of mine perform and they couldn't find him a mic. The stage is very shallow and not set up for live performance... the mic got feedback constantly due to the setup... They had a guy walking around trying to get people to sign up for a sex personals site. Just sat down in the booth with me and my friend and tried to sell us a membership. Sleazy. The girls working there were nice though.

This is now called taboo [Really Cool Place} Great music and cool light.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis place used to be cool, but is pretty dead now. The bartenders aren't very sociable, and the girl at the ticket window denied my friends and I entry even though we were on the guest list because she didn't know how to read it- then told the bouncers to get rid of us. I will never step foot back in there, would rather go to Tiki Bob's or Tonic where there are actually people/courteous staff.
