Without a doubt... NO STAR CLEANERS! Only take your clothing here if you desire the poorest of quality. My shirts looked worse than they did before I took them in! They "fixed" them and they looked the exact same!
Get's even better... they also ruined 2 pair of my pants, one pair of which was brand new and never worn. The owner took OVER TWO WEEKS to reply to me, all the while trying to once again "fix" them, and actually made them worse by leaving chemical spots where they attempted to remove the markings they put all over them in the first place! In the end, I was told I was responsible for submitting a claim form, which they've never been able to get to me... and finally I was told the owner wanted to speak to me himself first to attempt to resolve the issue, which naturally has still not happened!!!
What's there to resolve??? Replace my pants that you jacked up already!!! Obviously, I'll never be returning to that lousy excuse for a business! Good luck to those who do!
MORE LIKE "NO STAR CLEANERS...": They might as well not even provide a date to pick up your order since after 5pm two days after drop-off has repeatedly not been enough time. I'm currently going on 4 days... (for laundered cotton shirts!) And apparently there's no guarantee so you just have to wait and keep stopping by each day. Once I get my order back I certainly will tread the extra mile or two to the next closest cleaner.
Prices are not competitive. Coupons can be found in just about any mailbox, though the restrictions make it impossible to use without a large $$ drop off or losing savings in another service. All dresses are charged as if you've brought in two seperate pieces.
The one service they toute as inexpensive, 95 cent laundered shirts (when you bring in 3 overcharged dry clean items, of course)... come back with new wrinkles and awkward creases from being bagged up and smooshed against all the other orders.
