User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsOverall, doing business with this place will not hurt you--UNLESS you get involved with a "special."
I went to pick up my clothes from there, and I presented my invoice ticket. The ticket said that I owed $1.98 ($0.99/shirt for their special). However, the owner and her worker asked me for $3.00, their normal price of $1.50/shirt.
They said that the machine must have made a mistake, because the special only applied when you brought in items to be dry cleaned. This is okay IF it is presented BEFORE I agree to leave my shirts there. However, this is a lot like an auto repair shop quoting you $50 to fix your car, but they say you owe $100 when you go to pick up your car, and they will hold your car hostage until you pay their new increased price.
The owner did NOT even apologize for this mixup, if it was even that. She just asked, "Do you have another dollar?"
If I were her (a husband/wife team owns this place), I would feel really foolish letting a customer leave there angry over $1.02, even if the customer was right. However, the invoice clearly stated what I owe. The way I see it, she was more interested in being right than doing right.
$1.02 won't kill me, obviously, but there isn't any reason to rip off someone. That's what they're doing here.
I don't plan to return there.

I see they have sold the business, and of course they have taken the excellent service with them.
So, this is why i am asking if anyone knows.

best cleaners with the nicest owners: I've been to many cleaners around my area but this one is definitely the nicest. The owners are so generous and great and my clothes end up extremely clean. Another positive of this cleaners is that when the owners have damaged your garments and it is their fault, they take full responsibility. I strongly suggest this place.

I wish I did. I really liked Mike. He and his family might have returned to South Korea. I really liked the service when he owned it. The buttons on my shirts NEVER returned to me cracked. (To be fair, the new place is pretty good about this. I've only had a few broken buttons, which is pretty standard for a dry cleaner.)
