kudos to the associates!: The associates at this Commerce twp store are amazing and knowledgable, the service desk is always helpful ,.although I have to say that the management could be better, it's run by a bunch of 20 somethings on an ego trip

Big Box Store Showing Its Age: Home Depot in general is not the agile retailer it used to be, which is better news for the Ace and True Valve Hardware stores of the world. One problem is contractors and retail customers are two different clients, and the DIY folks need experienced advice, not stocking clerks. This store I found the staff to be friendly but not very knowledgeable when you could find someone to help. A special order for something they stocked only two months earlier is now taking a month to get, seemingly a result of dropping slower moving products or out of favor vendors. As far as the previous positive reviews, I can only guess they are shareholders or the HD Area Manager. I used to love HD, but it's now the "Big K" of hardware stores.

Re: negative review: The negative reviewer must never have been in this Home Depot. There are plenty of employees everywhere and the store is not 'dark and hard to find stuff'. The reviewer must work at 'Lowes'; this store has been great since day one. And sure beats Lowes prices.
