User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsBetter then some other breweries out here. I enjoyed their burgers & salads, haven't tried pizza and I wouldn't recommend the fish&chips. The beer is good, when they have the one you actually want. Service is USUALLY good. Management is attentive & cares about customers. Atmosphere is pleasant.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCJ's is one of the best microbreweries I have ever been to. My first experience came when I moved to the Detroit area back in 2001. I discovered this gem nestled in area you would never expect to find such a great brewery not to mention the food. I have been to this brewery countless times and my experience has always been positive. The IPA is my favorite and of all the beers I have tried at this establishment, I have never been disappointed.
I recently was at CJ's this past weekend, and I hadn't been there in at least 2 years since I no longer live in MI. Wow, how great the food and beer were. To me, that shows excellent consistancy when you can come back to a place 2 years later and still have great service, food and IPA. It's too bad that some have experienced poor service or lack or their favorite beer, as I have never experienced any of these issues. I highly recommend CJ's...without question the best microbrewery in Michigan. FYI try the Cap'n Crunch Chicken...its awesome!
