I am a camper who travels up to Port Austin, MI every summer, and I have ALWAYS shopped at Mayes IGA, I am greatly pleased with the market and feel it deserves much praise: Mayes IGA Foodliner is an excellent example of what a supermarket should be. You walk in the door...your eyes suddenly focus on the variety of products available: not too overwhelming but an excellent selection of just what you need! The meats are fresh, produce clean, and dry goods ready for sale. Also, a variety of gadgets meet your eyes, great for campers (like me). Then...a smiling face greets you...makes you feel like your welcome, even if they know your "not from around here". They are knowledgeable and understand how to help you best. So you have it: Selection and Service in one- Intertwined! Shopping at this IGA actually has become a part of my camping trip that I look forward to, and that's not easy to say- looking forward to grocery shopping. I am truly pleased with this IGA and would HIGHLY recommend it to any customer- living OR VISITING Port Austin, MI. I give it an A + 10/10 Rating. Bravo Mayes IGA on another Satisfied and RETURNING Customer, Tony A!

One more note, This IGA has a great selection of meats. The meats are always fresh and reasonably priced. Also, the amount of groceries is perfect- not so overwhelming and yet it has everything you would hope it would have. Great Store!
