We had a radio installed in our 2000 Hyundai the day before Christmas because the radio had been removed and the wires cut before we purchased it. The salesman was informed of this before the install. We found out on our Christmas trip south that (1) the radio was not even mounted in the console but was in fact loose and we could not use it and (2) the installer broke just about all of the inside of the console trying to install, which meant we were roasted to death during our trip because the heater/air conditioner control was damaged. The console was literally ripped out of the car when all the intstaller needed to do was take out one screw and the whole thing would have come out easily. The dealer we had to take the car to has stated to us that there was no way that all that was pre-existing. We will be expecting to be re-imbursed for all of the repair expenses cause by poor installation practices. If not we certainly will be complaining to the Better Business Bureau and also the State Attorney General because we believe that the store has caused problems for others through faulty work as was heard from a few people that entered the store while our complaint was entered with the sales person.
