User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you visit this place....if you look across the street you will see a grubby strip plaza. In the middle is a sliver of a store that used to be a restaurant. This is where El Charrito's was born.
My wife spent a lot of time in Florida living in the Mexican community, so she is very familiar with real Mexican cooking....and this is as close as it comes!
As mentioned, you can go next door to the bar, and they will let you order food and eat it on the bar side....while watching their TV's and enjoying the atmosphere.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. If you are hungry, get their web beef barretto dinner.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDEFINATELY WORTH VISITING: ok, this place is one of the best mexican restaurant's i have been to maybe ever. And with Shenanigan's Tavern connected by one single doorway, how can you go wrong. They have excellent food and drink specials all the time. And for you football fanatic's like my self, the 8 taco's for $6 bucks is a hell of a deal on sundays. I highly reccomend this establishment for anyone who isnt afraid to visit flint east side, lol
