User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI had the worst dining experience of my life in this restaurant. I ordered a fish sandwich on a Friday night and burned my mouth and throat so badly on the first bite that I could not continue to eat. To be specific I did not take the first bite as soon as I got my food. The fish was extremely greasy and I belive the frying oil was not hot enought and the fish became saturated with hot oil and then not drained properly. The waitress then offered me ice cream, I explained I was diabetic so she offered sugar free apple pie. As I previously stated I was in too much pain to eat anything else and was simply sucking on ice cubes. When we received the bill we were charged for the meal that I could not eat. I asked to see someone in charge so the owner came to the table and basically explained it was my fault and I would either pay for the meal or not be allowed back in the restaurant. I have never been treated so badly and was appalled at her rude, insulting manner. I guess I should have just said I didn't like my meal, most places will not charge you if you are unsatisfied with the meal.

One of my favorite places to eat. My husband took me there on our 1st date.
I really enjoy the salad bar and the homemade breads. Love the broasted chicken
and their pies and cookies are wonderful. Many like the fish, but I'm not a fan of
corn meal batter. They have very good noon specials during the week.

Always good food! Great fried fish. Had them cater my wedding and people still talk about the food.
