   MoreNestled on the shores of Lake Linton in the Celebration Square, Japanese Cultural Center & Tea House opened its doors in 1971. The tea house opened much later in 1986 and is considered to be the only one in the state. It is also among the 10 traditional tea houses outside of Japan. A beautiful haven of idyllic gardens inspired by Japanese landscaping, it is free of charge for visitors. Tours of the tea house is offered at a very nominal fee. Get to know the history of Japanese tea culture and sip authentic tea served in an elaborate way. The center also hosts tea ceremonies on the second Saturday of every month. You can also avail of private ceremonies by making an appointment. Calligraphy and origami classes are held occasionally. Less
