Spa Prahna

My brother had bought a gift cirtificate for my Mom for Mothers Day. Mom wasn't comfortable with a FULL DAY of luxury... so of course she invited her only daughter to go along to share the spoils once we scheduled the appointment. I got the hair treatment and full body massage... my Mom the pedicure, manicure and facial. I was like butter after that massage and with cute hair! My Mom... she looked years younger. She said that facial was the best beauty experience she's ever had. She even had this silly grin on her face for days everytime she talked about it. She has since been hooked and is going off on her own to indulge without me :-(.

I highly recommend! The atmosphere was very relaxing, great decor and service... and it helped that my brother even took my kids for the day... Now THAT is relaxation in itself. Thanks Bro

I've been going to Spa Prahna since it opened. I: There is absolutely nothing I don't like about this Spa. It is so refreshing to know that a small town like Clare, MI , has such a unique salon in its mist. I highly recommend Spa Prahna for style, craftmanship, personal attention, and just plain ambiance. The very BEST in the area by far.

Transported to another world: This review is a couple of month's over due... but here it is.
As soon as I stepped through the door I was transported to an altered state of mind. The decor is fantastic, the music relaxing, and there is an immediate fragance in the air that smells, ummm, calming! This is a big city spa in the middle of this little town, and unlike some of the spas I've been to in the Detroit Metro area, this one is worth the money!
While on vacation in Clare, I got an all day spa package with a cut and color. Not knowing what style change I wanted I put myself in the hands of Lettie, who is the owner. I haven't had a new style in years, and I have to admit when she first cut it... I was ummm, shocked! Not what I expected and frankly, I didn't know if I liked it... it was such a change. When my husband picked me up, the first words from his mouth was "WOW, you look great!" and after 15 years I think it was the most enthusiastic response I ever got... for anything! Thanks Lettie! Over the next week I got compliment after compliment, I guess I liked the cut and color after all. :-)
The facial I received was out of this world! It was a healing experience from my toes to my nose. There is nothing like it anywhere else I've been and as my husband will tell you... I should know! I was like putty and I hadn't even got my massage yet!
My massage therapist, and I want to emphasize therapist because unlike many massages before at other places, I left my muscular knots and tension on the table.
I could go on and on and plan to return next summer when we're in the area for vacation. Heck, I might even make a special trip just for me and the girls! I can't say enough about Lettie and her crew. Excellent!
