User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love the Brighton Sagano restaurant. I've been eating sushi for over 25 years. The sushi roll "From Russia with Love" is one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. The food cooked teppan style at your table is always excellent, too. Much better than other teppan chain restaurants.

I have done takeout sushi from this location on three separate occassions. All three times, the order was incorrect and the sushi was made in a sloppy manner.
I recommend the Brighton location for the Sagano chain. The flint location is not worth the time. -

For those of you who thinks Sagano is a great Japanese Restaurant is because it's the ONLY ONE in the whole Genesee County. Most people in the Flint area never really had any REAL Japanese food, their food is just alright, sure NOT THE BEST. The sushi they make over there always fall apart (a good sushi chef would never make that mistake). And when they are busy on the weekend, the food takes forever (at least 30 to 45 minutes). Worst of all, there's a lady who always yelling at the waitresses in front of the customers, very UNPROFESSIONAL! For those of you who want some REAL GOOD Japanese, may I suggest Ajishin in Novi, MI or Totoro in Ann Arbor, both of them have very good sushi because they are make by real Japanese sushi chef!!!
