Hunan is the best! i woudlnt eat at anyother chineses place. Good amount of food for good prices. Alas you get more for the lunch? I dont know why? Yummy.

I should have known to just walk out as soon we entered the establishment. The atmosphere was creepy. Too quiet. No people. A dim red glow from the lights. No windows.
Our server was friendly, but didn't make the experience any less creepy.
The fried meat dish my friend ordered was almost black. It was supposed to be pork, but we think it was old, dried out chicken. The sauce on it was thick and coagulated. He didn't send it back because he didn't want to offend.
My dish was okay at best. It wasn't like the food at my favorite chinese place, but those are high standards to beat.
The prices were fair. We got lunch specials.
My advice--if you want awesome, fresh chinese food with hooked up portions--go to China City on N. Michigan.

I like Hunan's because as a vegetarian I can order food made with a water base instead of Chicken stock(except the egg drop soup). They also dish out massive amounts of food. Its one of only 2 Chinese restaurants I will eat at in Saginaw, but I don't really care for Chinese food much.
