User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy friends and I love this place! It is our favorite restaurant in town by far! We have been known to show up right as they open to eat it for breakfast even. We are repeat customers and even noticed right away when they got new tables and painted the walls. We LOVE the china it is the place to eat in Alma.

Great place for the family: My kids and I love to eat at the China Buffet in Alma. It seems every small town in the country has at least one or two Chinese restaurants these days, but this is one that stands out. The restaurant is clean, service is good, food is usually top-notch. (If you go in between meal rushes, sometimes you'll find items on the buffet have not been refreshed - best to wait until peak meal time.) There's never a wait to get in, or a line, like at some restaurants in bigger cities. The servers seat you promptly, and even if they don't have a great grasp of English, they try as hard as heck to make themselves understood and to understand you. They'll even take a moment to try and talk to your kids or your family, just to make you feel at home. If you are a repeat customer, and show up without the normal amount of family members, they'll ask about the missing ones - now that's service!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI would eat there every day if I could!: I love eating at the China Buffet. they have okay service. The chinese people are kinda hard to understand. But the food rocks! Except the seafood. I don't eat seafood but my friends say it is gross and it made one sick. They have the best rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
