I can recall my father sending me to St Laurent's Brothers for peanut butter logs when he was ill with cancer. Even though it was a 90 mile drive it was well worth it. The candy was perfect. He also told me to get peanut butter and from there my own tradition was started. It is like none I have ever tasted. Every time I go to Bay City I make sure one of my first stops is there to stock up.
If you go make sure you try it. It's an old time candy store with more than you can imagine waiting inside. This place gives the term "treat yourself" a whole new meaning!

LOVE IT~: This is my childhood favortie place to go when I'm craving something sweet! Heck, even Madonna stopped here when she was in Bay City. If you come ot Bay City, come to St. Laurent Bros!!!

A must visit! A highlight of downtown Bay City.: After browsing their broad, unique, and classic assortment of homemade and commercial candies it's very difficult to leave without buying at least a little something. Their selection varies by season, so be sure to check them out during cooler months when they are making sea foam (my personal favorite). Their location makes them a great place to stop during a walking tour of the downtown antique centers and other quaint shops. Truly outstanding confections, nuts, and treats have made them a favorite of locals and visitors alike.
