This little Mom & Pop candy store is as good as they get. It is family owned and operated and their caring approach to hand making chocolate candy from scratch shows in all their products. If you're passing by the corner of M-55 and M-65, or anywhere near, this is a "must stop". You won't be disappointed in the quality of their hand made chocolate candy.
Sherni Candies out of Whittimore, MI has some of the best chocolate, my sister worked there when she was a teenager, and send me a box for Christmas. If you want to sent some PREMUIM chocolate to anyone, this is the place. IT is great!!
My dad grew up in Alpena, MI and my extended family still goes back to MI every 5 years or so. Sherni's is a staple. We do not even think of leaving before purchasing some of the pieces of chocolate heaven that they lovingly create. Our favorites are the chocolate-covered strawberries. The owners are extremely friendly and make amazing, delicious candies. I highly recommend that you visit Sherni's and make it one of your family's Michigan traditions.
