About:	The historic Frankenmuth Brewery was first built in 1862 and operated as one of Michigan's largest breweries until it was destroyed by a tornado in 1996. The current building was constructed in 2003, but remnants of the old brewery are on display throughout. We offer craft-brewed beer, outstanding food with a menu featuring classic American dishes and authentic German cuisine, a gift shop and a fascinating tour of our brewery.
