I can't say anything bad about Big Bob's. I love them all dearly, they've all been good to me and my family. Big Bob and his staff all have the biggest hearts of that I know of. I have never met a staff that cares so much about their customers. They have great food, great service and best dang staff anywhere in the USA. I just saw Big Bob recently, he's still such a pleasure to be around, after I saw him I was in such a better mood.
Oh, if you ever what good entertainment, go in there when the Red Hat Ladies are in there, you might hear Big Bob sing. My uncle and I cracked up laughing and proceeded to laugh all the way home that day.

Best hamburg and fries, or baked potato anywhere. Reasonable, clean, great staff.

REAL home cooking, best ham & bacon ever: Big Bob's is extremely clean, warm and friendly. We found while camping in the area and now go for breakfast every time we're nearby. (They serve breakfast all day.) They get their meats from Alward's, also in Hale, which makes their own ham and bacon. Better than Honey-Baked! very, very tender and flavorful. Ham & cheese omelet best I've ever had in travels in 32 states and 6 countries. Waitresses always friendly. Seat yourself. Spotless every time we've come. Never even fingerprints on the doors or mirrors. Pancakes are very large and egg-y. Very generous portions. Extra parking in back, and enter thru back or front. Great, mild coffee (not weak) with real cream, too.
