User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars03/05/06 We have always loved A&W in Standish, MI, however several times lately they have been completely out of the chicken dinners we like so much (3 times to be exact!) One of those times they did have 1 chicken dinner (we ordered 2) and when it came it was extremely dry & terrible. We have had their chicken many times in the past & it was so good it kept us coming back. I have called & complained,and I am currently waiting for Misty, the store manager to call me back. They have a new casino in Standish and this establishment should be improving not regressing, The last 2 times we left before ordering. they told us ahead of time, at our request that they had no chicken. Not even an offer to cook some & have us wait. We went to another restaurant. We hope this improves..... Ok today is the 6th, got a call from Misty the manager. She was quick to make lame excuses and quickly put the blame on the waitress that reqularly works that shift. Dah Misty it was not the waitress! I say it was your fault. If there was no chicken in the facility it was because you did not make sure it was there! Staff can't make what you don't provide! I was offered free chicken dinners which I declined because I want this fixed not brushed away as someone trying to just get free food! I will be contacting the owner next...stay tuned.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsgreat place to dine in or out.: if you want a great waitress ask for barb always there if you need something. fast and friendly and yes with a smile:) this is a great place to bring the family and friends. the best food and most of all its like you have friends and family there. dine in or out its up to you. they need roller skates though...lol for the drive up....lol
