O'Kelly's is the best sports bar in Mt. Pleasant for sure. It's the only positive note between the Wayside/O'Kelly's issue. It's a great atmosphere to watch sports games and hanging out with your friends. The servers were awesome to me, they always wanted to talk and were very generous. The food was great and the place is big but the best part is that at each table they have controls for the big screens for you can hear what's going on and it comes in handy when there's alot of people at the bar. A great sports bar!!!!!!
To the person who complained about not being able to get in. Stop lying, you did something that got you banned, don't lie.
To the the other person who complained about the waitstaff......the place is always PACKED you short bus rider. They've hired more staff and it still takes time. How many bartenders do you want behind the bar whene there are already 4 back there and they're bumping into each other because of lack of room?
Tuesday nights are best because of the cheap burger night and the famous dollar pint night that is only 21 and up to keep trouble making frosh and soft-mores out. Best place in town to find a cheap piece of tail too.
Worst service in mount pleasant: This bar has by far the worst service in mount pleasant. Its a great atmosphere to watch a game or fight but dont expect to get a drink whenever you want. They honestly need to hire like 2 or 3 more waitresses and a few more bartenders to handle the crowd, I dont even go there anymore because its so ridiculous to get a drink there. Not only that, but the slow waitstaff is rude and unattentive...

When I was the designated driver for my sister's batchelorette party, they tried to cut her off because she was "too inebriated" and stated that "I" had been drinking (when I only drank water all evening!). If they can not tell the difference between "drunk" customers and sober customers, what are they paid for? The staff needs additional training.
