I love Dr. Gurden. She is the kind of doctor who really cares about her patients. But, one person on the staff does not. When calling in for hormones, I was given a scrip for Xanax. I asked the girl if it had a side effect of wanting to commit suicide. She told Dr. Gurden I was going to commit suicide. This girl kept telling me that if I was thinking of committing suicide, I should go to the ER. I told her several times, I am NOT thinking about committing suicide, I just wanted to know if that was a side effect of the scrip taht was being called in for me. If that was one of the side effects, I didn't want it. Sadly, Dr. Gurden believed this atrocious lie and wouldn't let me tell her what really was said by me. She even told me she was ready to call the police and have me committed. This girl has made me out to look like a nutcase. I have gone to Dr. Gurden for many years and I am very hurt that she would even think I said something like that. I ultimately had to change doctors. I refuse to let someone put words in my mouth that I didn't say, especially about something so extremely serious! Dr. Gurden , you're a good doctor. Too bad your staff isn't.
