There is a guy who frequently works the cash register at the Blockbuster at DeWitt who uses high pressure tactics to get customers to sign up for their promotional supposedly free movie per month for a 10 dollar membership fee.

I don't mind being asked if I'd like to sign up. But when a person says "no" he just keeps insisting and gets irritable if you don't sign up. He asks at least three times.

I'm not sure if the employees get commission on how many they sign up. But this guy is hurting their business. I'm now wary of renting any movies at this blockbuster located in DeWitt, MI - just in case this fellow is running the cash register.

I wish the owner or manager would settle this guy down - telling him that when a customer says "no" it means "no". And we don't go to blockbuster to get harassed and pressured to sign up for things. We just want to rent a movie and enjoy our evening.

I like this blockbuster, they are friendly and I don't have to show my id to some of them, they already know my name.

Depends on whos working: if you'll actually get a smile or not. Some of the staff are very friendly, others need to work on their interpersonal skills. I hate feeling like I need to apologize for making someone actually do their job.
