Your hosts are John and Kathy Beebe, proprietors of Caffè Casa since 1992. Their shop is laid-back, cozy and fun. Works by local artists adorn the walls. John tends to the espresso machine and a profusion of plants. Kathy is always dappled with flour and chocolate while concocting new recipes and preparing classic favorites. Kathy's baked-goods repertoire includes filled and plain croissants, muffins, chocolate chip cookies and bars, brownies, turtles, no-bake cookies, cheesecake, and speciality pies and cakes. She will be happy to collaborate on whatever you dream up -- think decadently triple-chocolate cake or chocolate praline cake for your next special celebration.
