Dined at Epic last night for our 1st Anniversary. We ordered the bruchetta for an appetizer, it was excellent. It also happened to be Fathers Day and the live music really made a wonderful atmosphere. Our dinners were excellent, we had the woodfired pizzas and tomato soup. The red wine sangria is also excellent as a pre dinner drink. All in all it was a very nice evening, relaxing and comfortable. I thought the prices were good for the quality. My pizza was $11 and was more than I could eat. The service was friendly and took care of all our needs. I would highly recommend it. We will be returning soon!
This is a top-notch restaurant. The waitstaff is professional and personable, the menu is well thought out and an eclectic mix of worldly flavors. The wine list is the best in Kalamazoo, and on Sundays all of the bottles of wine are 50% off. This is the perfect place to visit on any given night, or for a special occasion. One thing that impressed me the most is the over-all staff's attention to detail. I came with my in-laws and husband on a busy night and I never had to wait for water, a drink, bread and butter, or anything else I could ask for! Do yourself a favor and go have dinner here soon!!!!
I have tried Epic Bistro on a few occasions. Although the atmosphere is nice and upscale looking, the food is not very good.
If I were to to go downtown Kalamazoo in the future, I would look to some other restaurants in the area.
