I've been a customer for about 14 years.

We don't eat Asian that often...and it's usually take-out if we do.
All those years the food was very good & reasonably priced.

But then, mysteriously, the last three orders have been lousy.
Mushy egg rolls, too-thick sauces that appear to have been congealing all day, and replacing white-meat chicken with dark in the Orange Chicken. (like the customers won't be intelligent enought to tell the difference)

If you have the time & a car, go to Stir-Max on the corner of Westnedge & Kilgore for a reasonably priced lunch...it's really a good value & you can have your food prepared fresh right in front of you at no extra charge. (for about the same price as a take-out dinner from South China.

Because of the poor quality of my last three orders I'm giving three stars - and THAT'S GENEROUS!

When I make it back home to Kalamazoo I always hit South China.
The food is delicious as always. I always order the Sesame Chicken with the steamed rice and egg roll and egg drop soup. Water to drink. I think it runs about 6 dollars after MI tax.
The servers are always top shelf.
And if got left over they put them in a styrofoam container with flowers on it that appears as if it was made in 1975.
It's good times. And healthy according to Cooper.

Been eating there for years: I really like the food. Although theres not some of the favorites everyone looks for, the food that they do have is really tasty!
