Alterations & Sew Forth

I wasn't too impressed with this business. I dropped off a dress to be altered and was told it would be ready on a certain date after 2:00. I drove from Kalamazoo, which isn't too far away, but still is a bit of a drive. I was told that the lady who took my measurement couldn't put her head around what she was doing and I was asked to try the dress on again to get measurements. All the while, it was supposed to be ready for me to pick up. I waited an additional 40 minutes for it to be finished after trying it on once again. Never once was anyone in the store apologetic for not having it ready. The least they could have done was gave me a heads up and called me sooner in the week to tell me they needed me to try it on again for measurements. I will never have anything altered at this establishment again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

I am so happy to be able to tell others about the wonderful people, service, and quality you find at Alterations and Sew Forth. The ladies there are the best. They will make sure that any bride to be finds the gown and fit to make her feel like a princess. They have the alteration ability to make the gown and tuxes fit perfectly. I also loved that they do the alterations free of charge. This is a huge savings! I would recommend this wonderful shop to anyone. In my opinion, it is the only bridal shop worth going to in the Kalamazoo and surrounding area. They are the best!!!!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful people at this business! I purchased my wedding dress through them, and they were unfailingly friendly, professional, and helpful. All alterations were included with my dress, and they even made my veil for me, free of charge! I was one of 'those brides', who would come by to put on and show my dress to various people. I must have been in there 6 times in 8 months, and the staff there was so nice every single time!! The price on my dress was very reasonable, and the service was simply outstanding. Given some of the horror stories I have heard about dresses, I can't recommend them highly enough. Their selection is not the biggest, but they have a good representation of the styles available, and can order many other dresses. And the friendly service and good prices more than make up for the smaller selection.
