We had heard good things about The Vineyard and drove 45 miles to visit them. We were disappointed.
Our waitness (Amanda) did a great job and was efficient.
The filet steak was tough (2 different orders), and the Martini was at best average but priced at $12.00 each.
When we questioned the young man who said he was the "Manager", he was impolite and didn't seem to care...saying that "$12.00 is a bargin for a Martini, most charge $15.00". We will go back to Clementines when we visit South Haven....we will not return to The Vineyards.
Probably one of my favorite places in South Haven. We stumbled upon it when we didn't want to wait an hour and a half at another local restaurant. It's also a pretty busy place (since it opens at 4:00p) so you may have to wait a bit to get a table. The setting is within an old church so it make it quite interesting. I highly recommend ordering the Antipasto appetizer â very delicious! It comes with this foccacia type bread, olives, and a couple different meats and cheeses. The pizza was very tastey too. If you don't want to wait for a table just place a take-out order and I'm sure it'll be just as good.
The pizza was ok nothing special, the garlic bread wasn't worth buying. It had no taste and it was thick with a biscuit like texture. Its has a dark and gloomy atmosphere.
