Just when I thought the worst pizza in the Gull Rd/Sprinkle area came from Pizza Hut, I ordered a large thin crust with pepperoni, mushrooms, and green pepper from Little Caesars.
First, the order-taker couldn't get the order right & I had to repeat it three times. She asked for my phone number twice, and I had to tell her my easy-to-spell name twice.
An obvious graduate of the fine Kalamazoo school system.
But what can you expect from minimum-wage employees?
What I received was a regular crust pizza that was originally a $5.55 'Hot N Now' pepperoni pizza that had add-ons of mushrooms & green pepper.
The mushrooms were uncooked & the green pepper was hard & uncooked right from a bin.
Doesn't Mike Illitch take any pride in the food his franchisee's serve.?
How did this chain of so-called pizza restaurants become so successful?
Must be the advertising & easily satisfied taste buds of the peasantry.
Ok...the store was busy at 6:00pm on a Saturday.
But I'd rather pay more & wait an hour for good food, than receive awful quality.
And that's what you get from Little Caesars, poor quality.
Sorry, I'm not one of those customers that goes into a restaurant, gets called 'Hon' by the floozy waitress who serves up a couple Fritos & a microwaved burger, then leaves a 30% tip & writes a glowing review.
I call 'em as I see 'em & I wish I'd never laid eyes on this pizza.
Recently I ate pizza at an italian restaurant in Niagara Falls.
Wood fired oven, paper-thin crust, finest of ingredients, and bursting with flavor. Had to wait 45 minutes & paid $13 for a 12" medium pizza...but it was worth the wait & every penny well spent.
Of course, I'm not comparing Little Caesars to a family-owned restaurant that bakes the best pizza I have ever eaten.
But the 14" large three-topping pizza I got tonight from Caesars wasn't worth two dollars.
Never again will I darken their door.
Which was the Pizza?: I know I do love pizza. That is a fact, but Little Ceasar's is not a real pizza. I have to say that the pizza tasted like the box. Dry, cold, bland a very manufactured. What is wrong with a real pizza? Take the time and make it right. Come on America and enjoy food, not eat on the cheap with a cheap product!!!!!!
Long live Brick ovens. Down with conveyor pizza!!!!!
