T & J Towing

these people are COMPLETE JERKS!!! i was at a speedway and there were 3 pumps i saw a t and j truck trying to back up to a pump so i took the last pump to give him plenty of room. he decided he wanted my pump so he kept backing up until in a panic i threw my car in reverse just in time before he backed the bed of his truck right over the hood of my car. after laughing and high fiving his partner i had to wait to go around the truck and took the pump in front of the truck. as soon as i pulled out my cell phone, the rider frantically said "dude she is calling she is calling!!" cause he knew he was doing something wrong...he got ahold of the dispatcher before i did and fed her a line of bull s***....as soon as i got ahold of the dispatcher she was very short and rude to me...if anybody is happy with this buisnesses service you are just as inept as they are. its pretty sad that 13% of michigan doesnt have a job and these two idiots can drive around like bunch of jackasses and treat people like this and still get paid

The photo says it all. T&J is the biggest waste of money you can throw away on your car. They are UNprofessional, INefficient and RUDE. and if you ever have the option of going there (i sure as hell didn't have a choice) i guess you should just lock your keys AND your baby in the car, because apparently that's the only way you will get good service (terrible parenting discount maybe?) You'd better have the money though, or they'll probably try and take your newborn as collateral.

My friend got his car towed from his own apartment complex, even though he had a sticker AND had been parked in the same spot all year. When he went to go pick it up, his sticker was missing, and they told him someone must've stolen it from his car. How do you steal a sticker from a locked car without breaking any windows, and if you were so bold as to break into a car in the first place, why leave all the rest of the valuables untouched? At first i thought this behavior was too reprehensible for even the most desperate of towing companies, but after reading some of these reviews, many of the stories were too uncomfortably close to what happened to my friend. He now has to park 500 ft from his own apartment in visitor parking, if he can even find a spot.

On top of that, my boyfriend's car got towed from the same apartment complex (that was my bad, i didn't park it in visitor parking, i take responsibility for that.) However, when i called the place, the woman on the phone gave me short answers, and seemed about ready to hang up every time she ended a sentence.

BTW those payment options are completely bogus. Their terminals have been "down" since at least the beginning of the school year, and they don't take checks. You have to bring cash to get your car, and if you don't bring the exact amount, don't count on ever seeing your change, they suspiciously never have change for anything.

ALSO make sure you get your ID!! When we went to pick up the car, he never got his license back, and when we called in the next day asking about it, the people working there told us we had to wait 4 hours because that's when the lady who dealt with us would start her shift, and no one else could tell us if they'd found an ID. When we called, she told us she would call back in 15 minutes letting us know if she'd found it or not. An HOUR later we still heard no response and had to leave without being able to find it. I called the NEXT day asking about it, and the woman on the phone rudely told me that they plainly told us that if they didn't call in 15 minutes they hadn't found it, and wouldn't be calling back.

If you didn't feel like reading that novel i wrote up there, you should take away only one thing. Never ever ever ever ever EVER use T&J voluntarily, they are dishonest, rude, unprofessional, and disorganized, and honestly, just park in visitor parking no matter how annoying the walk is. T&J stalks the parking lot at UClub, and could possibly tow you within minutes of you parking there. The only nice thing i think i can honestly say about T&J is that their name is easy to remember.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! T and J Towing is the biggest scam to ever hit Kalamazoo!!! First, they have there cockroaches (tow drivers) hide behind a dumpster or wherever, and wait for you to park your car and then they attack! Cockroaches indeed is what they are! They will lie to you saying they can not reach there boss! They will scam the hell out of you! They have no consideration what so ever for your vehicle! And they rude, disgruntled, and unprofessional when it comes to running a business. They will charge you in excessive amount to get you vehicle out of the impound. 118 dollars! But they never have change! If you do not happen to have any 1 dollar bills than they will keep the extra 2 dollars and pocket themselves! The place is easy to miss your trying to find it, it looks like a beat down trailer next to shitty looking fence. T and J towing are bunch of scam artists, Extremely unprofesional i wouldn't be surprised if they have a meth lab cooking in the back! BBB anyone?
