User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDaryl's is the BEST restaurant I have even eaten at, and I have done my share of traveling. Some complain that prices are too high, but they are resonable. For the price I pay for a meal at Quizno's, I could get a good meal at Daryl's for lunch.
I try and get something different on the menu every time I go, and I have yet to be disappointed. The service is great overall. I have had one slow experience there, but it can happen anywhere. Daryl himself is very personable, and makes the rounds to check on the customers every time I have been there and seen him. I highly suggest trying Daryl's Downtown if you are in the area.-

Daryl is certainly a fine chef, and this relatively upscale place is now probably the most expensive restaurant in Jackson County. But it has one drawback, for some diners, in that they never did enough to fix the noise problem. The ceiling and walls were poorly designed (not Daryl's fault), and so much buzz is reflected that it's almost impossible to converse across a table without shouting. That's okay if you don't wish to talk, but otherwise it's an uncomfortable strain. They really need to hire a good acoustic engineer to find a way to fix it properly.
