I still drive 115 miles for the food and service,i grew up in jackson,love to come back here,it is the cheers of jackson county,even if you are a 1st time customer you will be treated like a long time friend,the oak tree is tops in food,drink,atmosphere...do yourself a favor and check it out....

The hidden jewel of Jackson. Don't let the unassuming facade fool you. The food is, top to bottom, among the best in the city. Make sure you start with a cup or bowl of any one of their incredible soups. Not to mention, the beer is cold, the drinks are stiff, and the service is impeccable.
