Wedding Belles

We recently visited Wedding Belles looking for a dress for a local high school pageant. My daughter had tried on six dresses at another shop, but nothing was "THE DRESS". We went to Wedding Belles with high hopes as a friend of ours had purchased a super dress there several years ago! Patti and her staff were very friendly, and very helpful to my daughter. They gave her lots of encouragement, explained why one dress might be better than others, and let her try on ones that they didn't think would look good on her! But, they picked out a beautiful gown, which was the last one she tried on, and it was "THE DRESS"!! My daughter is sooooo excited about this dress!! We took some pictures of it on her phone, and she is showing it to everyone!! She says it makes her feel like a princess!! I know she will look like one too! I thank Patti and her staff for all of their help, with not only the dress, but also the shoes and the jewelry! I know this pageant will be a night my daughter will remember forever! Yes, their shop is small and cozy, but every spare inch of space is used for Wedding/Prom/Pageant gowns, shoes and jewelry. They sure make the most of their little shop! Thanks again, Patti! It was a wonderful experience!

LADIES BEWARE….being the mother of the bride, this was the worse experience of my life. The owner, Patty, was as kind as could be but when the dress was ordered and when the money was in her hand she became another person. She was horrible. Not only was she horrible to me but to our entire family and the wedding party. She will tell you what ever she thinks you need to hear to make the sale and then she does not stand behind what she says. When she is confronted all she will say is "I would never say that" or "in all my years of business I've never said anything like that." There were others present when she said, for example, you only need half down and the rest is due at time of pick up, or another example would be that everyone would receive 20% off their purchase. Don't even try that one. I ordered a pair of shoes from her business that were $60.00 and when they came in they were $65.00 because of the raise in the "shipping cost" due to the gas increase. Then she turned around and gave me $5.00 off and not the 20%. Also, I paid for my daughters alterations at the time of her first fitting (as my daughter and part of her wedding party live eight hours away.) When my daughter went in for her "final" fitting she was charged again for her alterations. This time when I confronted Patty about this one (which it was documented on my receipt as "alternations paid in full') she said that she would never have done that because no one would have any idea what the cost would be until the final alternations were completed. The way this woman keeps her clients records on an oversized index card it is no wonder that she has no idea what is going on. Or it is simply a way to justify her incompetency!!!!!!!!

Ladies, do not believe one word that this woman says to you. She will say whatever it is to make a sale. Then she does not stand behind one word of anything that she says.

Wedding Belles is amazing! The dresses are unigue and gorgeous. They dont look like just another typical "pretty" dress. THEY ARE GORGEOUS!! They dont look like anything another girl would have which is good. Patty and her girls are so great! The first time I went in there, Patty could tell what size I was (and she was right!) and they immediately showed me dresses in my size, let me try on anything I wanted, and didnt make me carry the dresses I picked out. They also assured me that any dress I liked they could resize to fit me. Patty will also tell her opinion of what looks good, which I appreciate sooo much!! She is a genious and if I ask her opinion, she'll tell me what she thinks! They also help with shoes, jewelry, and anything I need. I feel most comfortable in Wedding Belles because after you come in there once, they remember who you are and make you feel like a queen! The personal service is wonderful and I have never gone anywhere but Wedding Belles to buy a dress!!
