User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis Red Lobster is the best, everyone is friendly the food is excellent, service great. We have several servers that we have gotten to know and we request them to wait on us. We eat there every weekend and if we have a problem is is fixed right away. For the ones of you that don't like it or had a bad experience stay out of it so it won't be crowded when I go. It has never been that smokey smelling to me. If it bothers you go on Sunday when it is non smoking for most of the day. The price is not that bad have a lunch there lunch is cheaper then a lot of places.

I've not been to Red Lobster in a few years. With a chain you can guess what the food will be like. We went to the Red Lobster on Shirley Drive in Jackson this afternoon. When we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the smell of dirty urnials and cigarette smoke. Ushered back to the non smoking area, was ok. Service was ok when we got there. Food was horrible. I had the scallops, shrimp and chicken over the "fire". The scallops were rancid, the chicken was rubber and we did not get a vegetable. The potates were like wallpaper paste. We would have complained if our waitress had time to properly serve us. We heard the manager a couple booths back smoothing the feathers of another customer. Its chain food at best, I thought it was one step up from Long John Silvers with high prices.

I have eaten in many so called "classy Restaraunts not only in the immeadire Area (JAckson,Lansing and Okemos) But i have dined in many a fibe place all over the world. For a franchised restaraunt,This Red lobster is superb. My wife and I are regulars there because of the service. I have yet to have bad service at this Red lobster. As with all eating establishments there are times the food doesnt come out the way it should however they have been few and far between at this place and the wait staff, bar staff etc are second to none. many so called elite restaraunts can most definitly take a lesson in how to properly treat customers as opposed to going through the motions and living on reputation of days gone by.
