Jones Homemade Ice Cream

This is by far the absolute best ice cream I have ever experienced and believe me i have eaten my share of ice cream!!!This shop has been around for decades (1942 to be exact). I probably had my first taste of ice cream from this place and have been spoiled every since. The wonderful creamy texture of the vanilla. The huge pecans in the butter pecan. The chocolate is to die for and OH!!! how can you go to jones without having the Mackinaw Island Fudge. They ship the fudge for the ice cream in from Mackinaw Island Michigan where it to is homemade.You haven't had a double chocolate malt until you have a Jone's Double.. the straw stands up in it and it is a dream until the last drop is gone. IF YOU HAVE HAD THE REST, NOW TRY THE BEST. HAGEN DAS, BEN AND JERRY'S And the other gourmets are just another ice cream compared to Jone's.

Many great ice cream flavors have been served at this parlor, blue moon and chocolate malt to name a couple. If you are ever in the Baldwin, MI area for Troutorama, The Blessing of the Bikes or are just driving through, make this one of your stops. My family has been going to Jones' for years and my parents and grandparents have also made it a stop in their travels since it's opening. We never visit Baldwin without stopping there!
