I work at the public library and let many people know how lucky I am to work with Alto Elementary. The entire staff is very cooperative in partnering with us. The interaction that happens in this school between adults and children is a pleasure to see. These students are polite, imaginative and just plain fun to work with. This community is very fortunate in having the entire package that makes up Alto Elementary.
We are loving Alto Elementary!: We are thrilled for our children to be able to partake of the advantage of attending Alto School. The entire staff takes an interest in each student. Each students' academic level is evaluated. If they need help, they get it. If they are ahead of the game, they are given more challenging work. They are motivated to do their personal best. 'Personal best' is one of the most applied phrases at Alto. The music curriculum encourages creative thinking through activities that involve movement and drawing. Bullying is almost obsolete at Alto. I have spent time on the playgrounds, in the classrooms, in the hallways, and lunchroom and have not witnessed any bullying. Being kind and helping others is reinforced from kindergarten on up. Most teachers and staff spend abundant hours of their personal time at school each week preparing for the next days lessons. The principal is involved in every aspect of the school. She spends time in each classroom, on the playground, at extra curricular activities. It feels like the principal, the secretary, teachers, maintence guys, all of the staff are connected and have our children's best interest at heart. We love Alto!"

The school with "HEART": Alto Elementary held a fund raiser for Parkinson's research that involved the entire student body and staff. Their "Pennies for Parkinson's" and "Paces for Parkinson's " walk raised money for Parkinson's disease research in honor of my son Bill Molnar who has Young Onset Parkinson's disease. The compassion and dedication they displayed in their efforts was heart warming and outstanding. Thank you to all the children and staff at Alto Elementary, the school with a huge "Heart"
